We’re in the heat of the summer, and these flowerific treats will hit the spot. Not only are they medicinal, but they are beautiful! These rosewater balls are light and appropriate for any occasion. This recipe includes; rosewater, dried rose petals, and fresh organic rose petals. How fun is that?!
I’m totally zenning out in the kitchen when I’m cooking with flowers. They feed my inner flower child and foodie soul…basically, Roses kick ass! They have so many health benefits…
Roses treat the heart, nerves, and lift the spirits. They have a cooling energy and sweet post digestive effect. Roses have an ayurvedic action of; awakening digestion, benefiting blood flow, increasing semen and improving intellect.
Roses also benefit the women’s reproductive system in many ways. The friendship between roses and blood is useful in excessive menstrual bleeding, vaginal infections and inflammation. The flower clears fire from the uterus and aids in dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia, endometriosis and uterine fibroids. Rose can be taken during the 14-28th days of your cycle to alleviate PMS. The herb also enhances sexual energy, romance, and fertility.
I drink rose tea almost everyday to help with my Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome and cool me down during the hot summer months. I also eat these balls if they are around:)
