What do ya know? I know that rice is nutty and rich when you saute it in ghee before you boil it. It’s so luscious and fragrant. This recipe is quiet delightful because of all the opportunity you have to get creative with the ingredients. The rainbow rice calls for some veggies… I’ve been jammin on yellow beets lately. You can use whatever you like! Whenever I’m in my heaven… People’s Co-Op in Ocean Beach, I invite myself to choose veggies that I normally wouldn’t buy, something rare or in season. It opens doors to new tasty creations.
